Day 1. Mexico City
Arrival and transfer from the airport to the Hotel Century in Zona Rosa.
Day 2. Mexico City - Teotihuacan -
Mexico City
Breakfast, followed by guided tours of Teotihuacan, with its
impressive Pyramids of the Sun, Moon and Quetzacoatl. Continue
on towards the Basilica de Guadalupe. The city tour includes
visits to the National Palace, Historical city centre and
Chapultepec Park. Return to your hotel.
Day 3. Mexico City - Cuernavaca -
Taxco
After breakfast, journey on to Cuernavaca, the “ City
of the Ethernal Spring ” for a glimpse of the colonial
city centre with its sober cathedral and fortress like Palacio
de Cortes. Continuation through the fertile Morelos valley
in to the Sierra Madre Occidental where, hidden away, is Taxco,
the famous silver city and pearl of Colonial Mexican Art.
Transfer to Hotel Posada de la Mision in Taxco. Dinner.
Day 4. Taxco - Acapulco
After breakfast, trip to Acapulco,. Arrival and accommodation
at hotel El Cano.
Day 5. Acapulco
After breakfast you will enjoy an Acapulco city tour. The
rest of the day is free at leisure..
Overnight-stay at hotel El Cano.
Day 6. Acapulco - Merida
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Acapulco, for
your flight to Merida. Upon arrival, to the hotel El Conquistador.
Day 7. Merida - Uxmal - Merida
After breakfast, city tour of Merida. In the afternoon you
will visit the pyramids of Uxmal, site of perhaps the finest
of all Mayan cities, where you will also enjoy a sound &
light show (8:30 pm). Afterwards return to your hotel El Conquistador
in Merida.
Day 8. Merida - Chichen Itza - Cancun
After breakfast departure to the archaeological site of Chichen
Itza, where you will have a guided tour. This ancient city,
dates back to 514 AD is the most well known of all Mayan archaeological
sites.
In the afternoon you will continue your trip towards Cancun.
Overnight-stay at Hotel Oasis.
Day 9. Cancun
Free day at leisure.
Day 10. Cancun
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home.
